Correct Connect Extra Long Grab Strap for Neck Strap [Does not include neck strap]

I have a 4 year old gelding that I'm starting out. I needed something to hold on to when he performs his incredible teleporting baby moves. I wanted something on his neck that wouldn't hurt him or change my position when I hang on to it. It needed to be quick to grab and of course very stable. This is exactly what I was looking for. It has lots of adjustability so I can set it to fit as high or low on his neck as I want and there are straps to keep it from sliding up over his ears. I can see it being very useful for a lot of different applications where a rider might need something to grab quickly so they don't snatch their horse's mouth.

I am a FEI rider and used to be very good when I was younger. I trained or took clinics with many of the great instructors in CA. Now I am 66 and started riding again taking two years ago after cancer surgeries and breaking every rib on my left side - I am now the titanium woman. Anyway one of my horses likes to spin hard if he spooks or another horse acts up. I love the horse he is perfect in every other way. So I bought the safety strap and added the long add on and three times my horse has done his spin and I have stayed on. I have very expensive riding equipment but this I won't ride without this strap!

Very good lenght to be able to hold together with your normal reins without disturbung seat or horse.

Use it for trail rides and to help my daughter with improving balance.

Do I replace the one that it came with?

Double Neck Strap Extra Long Add-On Strap

Im 62. I want to do whatever i can to make sure I can keep riding for more years..I am working with a new horse..He is older and used as a ranch horse.. This relationship is new for both of us..The product is very well made. I feel a lot surer about the safety of riding him..So far so good.

I'm 72 yo and my reactions are not what they used to be. My trainer suggested this breast plate and I was amazed at how well it works when my new horse surges ahead or launches in the air. I have it set so the handle is right where my hands should be at the trot, which is beneficial in training me to keep my hands out over his withers, helps prevent my pulling on his face and helps stabilize my seat. My gelding exploded on the trail and I stuck like glue...amazing because I was actually able relax in the saddle, which was exactly what he needed and I didn't yank on his mouth. The most challenging thing about this breast plate is the retraining of my focus to keep one hand on the strap at all times; but, this is worth it because it improves my seat and saves my horse's mouth. I'm so impressed, I showed it to several people and two of them immediately purchased one. The leather is lovely and the breast plate is padded in the correct areas. Well done, Correct Connect! I never ride without it.

Great quality leather and awesome product

The Double neck strap with the extra long add-on strap have already helped my riding. I need to sit back more but keep my hands low and together. The straps have helped me do both. Without the add on strap I'd be leaning forward which I need to stop doing. I'm doing dressage. I'm riding a 15.2 arab. I'm 5'6". Both straps are nicely made - great leather, great stitching & buckles.

This strap gives you extra security and puts your hands right where they need to be. It is the best!

On my horse the long strap was too long so the strap would not work for me,

It is however ,well made and on the correct horse would be very good.

Extra riding security!

It’s a little to long but it is still helpful.

This keeps me from pulling on his mouth but still gives me the control I need. Great quality and matches my tack!

I love the security of having the neck strap with the extra long grab strap. It’s easy to grab in a spook and instead of the traditional strap on the front of the saddle which causes me to pull back - I can reach forward and feel secure.

This strap allowed me to use it while riding without disturbing my dressage seat. I wish the neck strap gave the option of having this instead of the regular strap.

Love it. Helps my balance and staying out of my horse's mouth. My horse and I thank you.

Such high quality leather
With the longer attachment I'm able to ride my dressage holding onto it with my outside rein when I need to feel more safe and it doesn't interfere.
Definitely get one if you need some saftey or get a bit anxious

The strap is long enough to keep your balance and position. I haven't used it on a green horse yet. It requires some getting used to .

This is a great equalizer in trail riding. I originally had the regular strap and it was fine but caused me to have some arm fatigue. The longer strap is perfect. I can hold one or both reins and still have room for the strap. Love it.
